Sikkim University, in collaboration with ATREE (Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment), is inviting applications for various research positions under the National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS) funded project. The focus of the project is to enhance climate resilience through sustainable agroforestry and promote biodiversity conservation in the Sikkim–Darjeeling Himalaya.

Q1. Who is eligible for the RA post?
Ph.D. holders in Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences with relevant field and analytical skills.

Q2. What if I don’t have NET for JRF?
You can apply as a Junior Project Fellow (JPF) under MoEF&CC guidelines.

Q3. Can fresh graduates apply for Field Assistant?
Yes, graduates from any discipline can apply. Preference will be given to those with biodiversity experience.

No, selection is based on screening and interview.
